More Than a Mission — A Lifelong Commitment

Since 2006, I’ve committed over two-thirds of my working life to nonprofit and volunteer-driven marine projects—often without external funding or formal recognition. This work is not peripheral to my career—it’s central. Whether developing international advocacy platforms, coordinating grassroots restoration in conflict zones, or mentoring the next generation of marine professionals, I’ve dedicated myself to meaningful, on-the-ground impact. The following highlights just a few of the initiatives that continue to define my personal and professional mission.

Operation Red Sea – OPREDSEA

A high-impact initiative targeting two of the Red Sea’s most at-risk regions: Sudan’s climate-vulnerable coast and Egypt’s heavily polluted Suez area. While currently paused, OPREDSEA represents one of the boldest grassroots environmental projects in the region.

Empowering Divers & NGOs

I’ve mentored young divers, guided NGOs, and created accessible tools like the Diver Card to uplift professionals and support grassroots environmental work.

Why This Matters

These initiatives represent thousands of unpaid hours invested in creating tangible change. Their impact continues—because the ocean deserves more than words.
